I've done countless writing projects for Microsoft. I know their brand doc inside and out. I also know their NDA's. Because of this, I can only talk about my writing duties in the most general of bullet points. My MSFT duties have included:

 

• Writing scripts, revising web, and digital copy.

• Weaving SEO keywords into blog page copy.

• Creating email, banner and blogging content for Office Online, and Office for iPad.

• Writing refined user scenarios, as well as editing, and creating video scripts for MS Office’s “Next Generation” office tools. Tasks included: collaborating with Microsoft’s in-house UX designers, UX Leads and staff

• Script-writing services on an MS project about the future of Megatrends and the Cloud

• Creating web content for Microsoft Business Intelligence, The Cloud, Dynamics, ERP, and Mobile

• Not to mention crafting copy for numerous e-commerce, and content writing projects like Microsoft Money,  and Conenza’s Microsoft Alumni Site

 

I've worked in collaboration with Allovus Design, Edelman, Filter, PBJS, POP, Possible, Projectline, Razorfish, Yesler, World Famous Pictures, and various teams at MSFT.
