About David Scully

I’m a writer with a background in traditional and non-traditional advertising, I’ve been a UX writer, e-commerce, scriptwriter, technical writer, copywriter, ad doctor, online content  editor, ad concepter, voice over artist, and product-namer who has written for the internet, tv, radio, theater and print for more than 10 years.

My past clients have included: Amazon, Chevrolet, Eddie Bauer, NBC King-TV (Almost Live), Nordstrom Direct,  NPR-National Public Radio, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Seattle Center, Russell Investment Group, and numerous projects for Microsoft (The Cloud/Microsoft Money/Accenture: Microsoft’s Alumni Community/MS Office’s “Next Generation” office tools/ XBox).
I also speak “designer” and I’m comfortable with Adobe CS (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), can do front-end web design, posters, banner ads, brochures and logos. I’m friends with FileMaker Pro, MS Office, and Wordpress software, and can even do old-fashioned letterpress.

Not to mention performing voice-over for the likes of companies like:

Ford, GMC, McDonalds, Microsoft, Macy’s, Nike, Playstation, Taco Bell, The Seahawks, Seattle Opera, YMCA, and serving/voicing as the national spokesman for Voicestream  (now T-Mobile) for three years.

That's Cliff Note version of my story—long form version available on request.
